MERIT SCHOLARSHIP CRITERIA AND INFORMATION

Amount of Scholarship - $500

 

  1. Applicant must have graduated from a high school in Jefferson City, Missouri.

  2.  Applicant must complete and submit a Juneteenth - Jefferson City Merit Scholarship application along with  a high school transcript to the address below.

  3. Applicant must have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5000 on a scale of 4.000.

  4. Successful applicant must enroll at Lincoln University of Missouri in the fall semester immediately following high school graduation.

  5. Successful applicant must be enroll full-time (12 or more credits) and submit a certified copy (from the Registrar's Office.) of their enrollment with Lincoln University’s official seal affixed.  The certified copy of enrollment must be submitted to the address below by the first week in September.

  6. Successful Applicant must reside on campus in university residence hall as verified by appropriate university official.

  7. Successful applicant will be notified by the Scholarship Committee of award.

  8. Scholarship is non-renewable.

  9. Scholarship check will be made payable to the applicant and mailed to the applicant’s home address.  Check will be issued upon completion of number 5 and 6 above.

         Due to the COVID-19 pandemic verification of your GPA,  ACT/SAT score,

        and submission of your official transcript is being waived until August 31, 2020.
